Employees and directors of 3M (“Sponsor”), and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, agents, franchisees, and advertising and promotion agencies, 3M distributors and 3M dealers and their respective employees (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members [children, spouse, parents, siblings] and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion. The Promotion starts at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Standard Time (“CST”) on March 11, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CST on December 31, 2008 (“Promotion Period”).

2. HOW TO ENTER: To play, visit www.post-itstyle.com (“Website”) during the Promotion Period and follow the instructions on how to play the Sophie’s Smarts Spin & Win game (the “Game”). If three (3) “SS” logos appear in a row, you are an Instant Winner (subject to verification). If anything other than three (3) “SS” logos appear in a row, you are not an Instant Winner. Once you get three (3) “SS” logos in a row, and receive a message stating you are an Instant Winner, you will be asked which one of the Instant Win Prizes you would like to receive (subject to availability) and to register on the Website by providing your complete name, street address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, age, and daytime and evening phone numbers (optional). Upon completing the registration, hit “Submit” to be eligible to receive your Instant Win Prize, subject to Sponsor’s verification. Play once per day per user profile.

3. INSTANT WIN PRIZE CLAIMS: Upon receiving your Instant Win message and clicking “Submit”, Sponsor will verify whether or not you are eligible to receive an Instant Win prize. Upon verification, Sponsor will automatically ship the prize to the address listed on the registration page of the Website within 8 to 10 weeks from receipt of registration submission. You are not a winner until your registration has been submitted to and accepted by Sponsor, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. POTENTIAL INSTANT WIN PRIZE WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR OR ITS ADMINISTRATOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING. PRIZES/ODDS/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”) (UNCLAIMED INSTANT PRIZES WILL NOT BE AWARDED): [100] Instant Win Prizes: A Portable Note Holder, a Flag Highlighter, or a Pop-up Desk Grip Note Dispenser. ARV: The Portable Note Holder retails at $4.50-5.50, Flag Highlighter retails at $2.49-$3.49, and the Pop-up Desk Grip Note Dispenser retails at $5.50-$6.50. TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES: $650. Odds 1:10,000. Prize consists of only one of the items specifically listed herein. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. GENERAL RULES: Sponsor, and their respective agencies are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer hardware or software or other technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information regardless of cause. Once submitted, entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all entries affected by such methods and be deemed tampering. Entry material/data that has been tampered with or altered is void. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel/suspend/modify the promotion if it becomes corrupted in any manner such that it cannot be conducted as originally planned and in such event, to select winners by random drawing from all eligible on-line entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

If prize/prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Entrants, by participating in this Promotion, hereby waive and release, and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, licensors, advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees and representatives and agents, from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death, and /or property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or their participation in this Promotion, or any prize-related activity.
